Journaling is beneficial for relieving stress as it allows you to release all of your inner fears, anxiety, mind chatter, and unwanted thoughts onto paper. In addition to providing clarity, it helps you over time to see patterns that you might not have noticed before. If you are the type to worry all day, every day, journaling allows you to set boundaries. Instead of allowing overwhelming thoughts to constantly overcome you, set time aside to put it all on paper and release it.
Journaling also helps to change your perceptions on death. For example, write about what you imagine heaven to be like, what it must feel like to cross over and see God, what fears will be removed.
